Does the recipient of my message need to be an XQ user?

No. You can send invitations to anyone.

How can I encrypt the entire chat?

At the top of the chat there is a lock, click the lock to encrypt the entire chat and unclick to decrypt the chat.

How can I send attachments securely?

At the bottom right hand corner, there is an attach a file button, click and select your file and it will be sent securely.

How do I invite users to a chat?

Enter the invitee’s email at the top of the chat and they will receive an email invite to the chat that lasts for 24 hours.

Can I delete messages and attachments?

Yes. At the top right hand corner of the chat, there are three vertical dots. Click on the dots and click delete conversation to permanently delete the entire chat and its attachments. However, if you want to delete only individual messages and attachments you can. Hover over on the message or attachment you want to delete, and you will see three vertical dots. Click on those and you can press delete to remove the individual message or attachments
