Transfer: XQ Zero Trust Data Protection Gateway - Part 1

Welcome to XQ, in this multi-part tutorial series, we will show you how to deploy and manage XQ’s Secure Gateway. In this video, we will cover XQ’s Gateway Web Portal. Secondly, we will walk through configuring your first gateway and deploying XQ’s Secure Gateway on Ubuntu.

XQ’s Secure Gateway is a layer-on Software and hardware approach which enables secure communications over any network. The Secure Gateway integrates with XQ’s patented zero-trust data protection protocol to secure data before it leaves the device. An alternative to MACsec and IPsec functionality, the Secure Gateway supports VLAN tagging and routing and IP-based routing.

The Secure Gateway can be deployed on a device as lightweight as a Raspberry Pi and can run on most modern operating systems. XQ’s Secure Gateway should work on most Linux distributions and has been tested on Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, and Pi OS. XQ’s Secure Gateway has also been tested on ARM and X86-64 chipsets.

To get started, navigate to gateway.xqmsg.com and log in using a magic link or single sign-on.
